Form / Shape: Narrow, symmetrical, oval crown Drought Tolerance: Moderate to High
Flower / Fruit: Greenish yellow; inconspicuous; blooms in Spring. Yellowish green fruit; turns brown in Fall Soil: Sandy, loam, or clay; well-drained, moist, fertile; not tolerant of compacted or wet soil sites
Foliage: Opposite, simple, three to five-lobed; dark green leaves turn yellow-orange in Fall Light: Full sun to part shade
Bark:  Smooth; tannish gray; matures to blackish gray & develops deep fissures & ridges Pruning: To develop crown and strong limb angles
  Uses: Large shade tree, lawn tree, needs large space for crown to spread & roots to develop
