Form / Shape: Pyramidal crown with a straight dominant trunk Drought Tolerance: Moderate
Flower / Fruit: Male gray green to tan; female yellow green to tan matures to light brown acorn; blooms in late Winter to early Spring Soil: Well drained, moist, acidic, clay, loam or sandy soil; tolerates extended flooding areas
Foliage: Alternate, simple, five to seven lobed with deep sinuses; glossy green leaves turns coppery red in Fall Light: Full sun; tolerates part shade
Bark:  Smooth, gray matures to dark gray black Pruning: Maintain central leader; to remove low hanging limbs
  Uses: Parking lot islands, lawn tree, buffer strips around parking lots, shade tree or residential street tree
