Form / Shape:  Tall upright pyramidal Drought Tolerance:  Moderate
Flower / Fruit: Fruit production appears to take a very long time to begin, and is sporadic at best - so don't plant this variety strictly for the holly berries; beautiful red berries Soil:  Average to slightly acidic - well drained
 
Foliage: Prominently spined, and the shape somewhat resembles that of an traditional oak tree; glossy, dark green foliage Light: Full sun to part shade
Bark:   Pruning: Can also be pruned to produce formal or whimsical effects in the landscape
  Uses: Specimen planting, hedge screen
