Flower / Fruit: Pinkish lavender bloom; blooms early to late Summer Soil: Well drained, moist
Foliage: Opposite, simple, 2-4" long dark green Summer leaves; yellow, orange or red in Fall Light: Full sun for best growth and blooms
Bark: Smooth, tannish gray and chalky; exfoliating bark Pruning: Late Winter to Spring; to remove low limbs, crossing branches
  Uses: Large flowering tree, shade tree, parking lot island
