Form / Shape: Horizontal and spreads with age Drought Tolerance: Low
Flower / Fruit: Light green, matures to white; four white bracts; blooms in late Spring after leaves; reddish pink drupe fused in 1/2" clusters Soil: Moist fertile, well drained, humus rich; prefers slightly acidic soil; mulch to keep roots cool and maintain moisture
Foliage: Opposite, simple, ovate-elliptical, waxy; dark green turns scarlet purple in Fall Light: Full sun to light shade; flowers better in slightly sunnier locations
Bark:  Smooth, grayish brown Pruning: Minimal; low limb removal; rootstock suckers
  Uses: Foundation, border plantings, specimen, group planting
