Flower / Fruit: Green flower - not showy; blooms in Spring with leaves; fruit - small kidney bean-shaped, 1/4" across - ripens in the Fall Soil: Well-drained; moist, compacted
Foliage: Dark green; Fall - yellow, copper, orange, deep red to purplish-red; leaf- 1 1/4 -2" long, alternate, simple, ovate to oblong, rough texture above Light: Full sun
Bark:  Peeling bark - orange patches; gray-brown branches should be 1/2 diameter of trunk to maintain a strong form Pruning: To maintain shape
  Uses: Street & shade tree; ornamental; lawn; parking lot island; buffer strip
