Form / Shape: Broad, oval to rounded Drought Tolerance: Moderate
Flower / Fruit: Light green; inconspicuous; blooms in Spring; light yellow fruit; turns brown in Fall Soil: Adaptable to sandy, or clay soil; best grown in well drained, moist fertile; not tolerant of compacted or wet soil
Foliage: Dark green leaves turn orange to orange-red in Fall Light: Full to part shade; best growth and color in full sun
Bark:  Smooth tannish gray; matures to blackish gray Pruning: To develop crown and strong limb angles; remove crossing and low hanging limbs
  Uses: Large shade, lawn, park and golf courses; needs large space for crown to spread and roots to develop
