Flower / Fruit: White, four showy bracts; yellowish green center cluster; blooms March to April; red clusters of drupes 1/2" Soil: Well drained, moist, fertile, humus rich, slightly acidic with adequate lime to supply calcium and magnesium for optimal growth
Foliage: Opposite, simple ovate to oval; medium green leaves turn red to purple in Fall Light: Light shade to full sun; adapt full sun with irrigation
Bark:  Smooth, stems reddish color when young; older bark becomes dark brownish gray Pruning: Minimal; low limb removal
  Uses: Specimen, mass planting with shade trees, accent Spring flowering tree
